Peter Lawson, a Jamaican American martial artist from Manhattan, New York, holds seven black belts in various disciplines, including Seido Karate, Sanaucus Ryu Jujitsu, and Brazilian Jujitsu. He began his martial arts journey in Jamaica at age 12, excelling in Seido Karate. In New York, he earned his first black belt under Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura's guidance. Subsequently, he achieved a 6th dan black belt in Sanaucus Ryu Jujitsu under Dr. Moses Powell. In 1997, he delved into Brazilian Jujitsu, winning numerous medals globally. Peter shares his passion for martial arts through his Brooklyn dojo, inspiring students to build strong bodies and disciplined, confident minds, enabling them to make a positive impact on the world.
