I signed up for kickboxing classes at Brooklyn Martial Arts a month and a half ago and I've been really pleased with my experience so far. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and I feel like I get a great workout every class I go to. Pete and his staff are also very friendly and helpful. I recommend Brooklyn Martial Arts to anyone who is looking to learn martial arts/self defense or just simply wants a great total body workout.

A friend of mine introduced me to the class 2 years ago. This was my first experience doing kickboxing. All the instructors are extremely motivating every class and every step of the way. Fast forward post covid lockdown Im here to shed a few pounds and feel like myself again. After rejoining I feel great about the safety precautions set in place to have a safe and successful class.

A few things make this stand out, and I only have 1 critique. I did 1 class of Muay Thai (brand new) followed by a class of Kickboxing which I am extremely familiar with, Muay Thai is totally different than KB, you are kicking with your shins, rather your feet, kicking at inside and outside of legs which is different and I really wish I had shin guards to start. I wish that I was told when I called that shin guards and a mouth guard would be a good idea to bring. A 101 class for Muay Thai would have helped tremendously.
